How to Best Deal with Crisis -- SimplyUnmani

One of the things about being a Chief Happiness Mentor is the mentoring part. For me, when I made the commitment to become a mentor, I committed to dropping the curtain between the polished professional face I show in my services like the My Bliss Path™ program courses, and my personal, private Self. I made a commitment to show others how I show up in real time, in my real life.

How does someone like me, who knows exactly who they are, completely loves themselves and their life, knows exactly what their purpose is in the world, and is committed to changing the world one loving act at a time actually show up when the rubber meets the road?

Well, Loved Ones, please join me by watching this video of what I have to say about how to respond to a crisis with basic sanity when I’m in the midst of a six-hour crisis.

To give you some context: I LOVE my truck! Love it! I give my truck offerings in gratitude for taking me where I need to go and doing so with style and intense reliability. Any of my ...

The Wisdom of Questioning Everything

Hello, Loved Ones! Please join me in reflecting on one of the most important concepts to grasp and work with here in the Blissverse: Question Everything.

This is a skill! This is hard! But looked at in a certain way, it's not only something you can achieve with ease and grace in your life, it's something that will increase your capacity to enjoy life. Promise!!

Also, please read my blog post of the same title. In the blog, I write completely different stuff on the same subject. This week's blog contains helpful ways to reframe the experience of "being wrong," into an experience of the depths of wisdom available to you and the joy of learning and growing.

Gift To You: Transformative Guided Meditation

Happy Friday, Loved Ones!! Attached is a 30-minute guided meditation which was shared by a group who scheduled a December 2021 Solstice Worldwide Simultaneous Meditation I participated in.

Human consciousness is a force for changing the world. Joining with others in vision, the more powerful we are. Together.

May this meditation inspire you as much as it did me...may it feed your heart as much as it did mine....may is sooth your spirit as much as it did mine....may it bring you joy.

In love!! 😍

Thank you for the opportunity to share this with you.

Love, Unmani

How Fun!! Learning to Grow Your Own Food

One thing people occasionally say to me is: I don't have time to take care of my health and happiness. I get that. I've been there. So full of modern culture bustle and hustle and conditioning. So I usually just look at them in response letting their statement reverberate between us and wait to see what happens.

Really, if you're busy having drama, if you're busy worrying, if you're busy on social media, if you're busy with your face in a mobile phone, if you're busy drinking and/or doing drugs or recovering from drinking and/or doing drugs, if you're busy overworking, if you're busy doing things you hate to make money, if you're busy being unhappy....and you're cool with that, keep it up.

But sometimes, sitting in that open, spacious space while we look at each other that person who just said they have no time for self-care in any form.....sometimes they say something to the tune of, "What would I do?"

One thing I always recommend is to take stock of what food and drink you eat and where it ...

When the Universe Talks to You....Do You Listen?

Happy Monday, Loved Ones!! Spirit Fest Sarasota was quite the weekend. One of the best things for me, along with getting to share Free Happiness Advice and Free Hugs, was getting to meet so many super-cool purpose-driven, talented, fascinating people out in the world.

I'll share some information about a few of the incredible people I met and their activities in the world soon.

But for this morning, may this picture speak to your heart as it did mine.

On Sunday morning before the doors opened to the public, I was doing a mindful walk through Bob of Melded Mind's ("We have mountains of rocks!" ) humongous booth (maybe 20 tables?) holding some type of rock that opened my heart and mind as I gently held and rubbed it near my heart. I found myself doing what I always do when I find myself in that open, spacious space of prayer: I started to cry with joy going through a list of every single teacher, wisdom gifted to me, family, and friends I've ever had the pleasure to experience... while saying to the universe, ...

Sharing a Bit of Community Q&A: My Take On Sadguru

As both a student and a teacher I'm huge into sharing and learning in a group environment. We can all learn from each other. I love it!

To that end, please let me share with you my response to a fellow member here in the Blissverse who wrote me the simple question: "Hi do you listen to Sadguru?" (If this topic floats your boat.)

To which I probably made his eyes water from the deluge of my reply. Hahaha! Sorry, I'm a long-format, gal, through and through. 😊

.................................................

No. I do not listen to Sadguru. I learned of him from a fellow patient at an Ayurvedic treatment center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. https://www.vaidyagrama.com/ She asked me to watch a short talk he gave on her phone, which I enjoyed.

(Sadguru's main site is in Coimbatore.)

The talk I saw he was at a university and said something I use in my own teachings...."Trees are a part of the human breathing apparatus and should be cherished and cared for as such. Not talked about in terms of...
